NASDAQ's New Certified Partners Program
Helping You Make Informed
Decisions
In order to assist market participants
in choosing the software solution that is best
tailored to your trading needs, NASDAQ has initiated
the Certified Partners program with Service Bureaus
and front-end software providers. The program
launches today, March 8th, and highlights the
Service Bureaus that provide optimal NASDAQ order-entry
and/or market making functionality such as:
- Enhanced order entry, market
making, and order types,
- Automated routing to NASDAQ,
and
- New market enhancements in
a timely fashion.
NASDAQ has rated each Service
Bureau as Platinum, Silver,
or Bronze.
What is the Certified
Partners Program?
Beginning in early 2004, NASDAQ began the process
of classifying each Service Bureau by level and
by type of product: order-entry or market making.
All service bureaus were ranked based on qualification
criteria, and are categorized as "Bronze" until
evaluation is finalized. Many firms will qualify
for elevated status Silver or Platinum.
